This is a book for the non-squeamish among us who wished there was an irreverent version of Everybody Poops written for adults. We collected the raw material for these stories from family, friends and our blog readers. Thank you to everyone who shared their tales of woe and let us present them in a humorous light. After all, poop is the lowest common denominator of human existence—and we think it’s hilarious.
Some of the embarrassing and humorous tales included in the book
“Naptime Horror” - A daycare worker discovers that one of her two-year-old charges has unloaded her diaper and used its contents as impromptu finger paint. Her canvas? The floor, herself, anyone around her.
“Fold and Wipe” - A thirteen-year-old is blamed for a septic tank disaster that leaves a bathroom overrun with raw sewage, grandparents spewing expletives and a little sister literally sliding through the shit.
“The Pilot Has Turned on the Fasten Seatbelt Sign” - After evading Montezuma’s revenge for sixty days in rural Ecuador, a traveler ends up sick, with no Imodium and no relief during an international flight back to America.
‘Postpartum Decompression’ - A new mother recovering from a c-section struggles to pass that first, frightening turd with “9” and “1” pre-dialed.

What a great laugh. I had tears streaming down my face as I read story, after story, that I could empathize with. It brought back memories of my own bowel malfunctions, and those of my friends. Everyone can understand the butt clenching sensation and prayers to "just let me make it to the bathroom". My dog was lying next to me, watching my face and tears, and wondering what the noise was. She put her nose next to my face, indicating that I would be alright. Thanks for a stress relieving laugh.Product details

Flush This Book True Tales of Bodily Malfunctions edition by S Jane Gari Heidi R Willis Humor Entertainment eBooks Reviews
This book is a very well-written essay of humorous situations that anyone can relate to.
The descriptions are priceless and it is a book you won't want to put down once you start reading, although it is written so that it can be read in more than one "sitting".
I am looking forward to more books from these same authors as they have a very appealing writing style.
This book has everything you need- great writing, interesting stories, and witty humor involving bodily functions. It is a fabulously entertaining read, with stories that almost everyone will be able to relate to. After all, no matter how far we've come in the world, we all still need to use the bathroom. Not your ordinary toilet humor, this book will have you re-reading it for years!
Wow! Where did these ladies come from? I found a lot of the writing in this book better than you find in traditional published books. It's not all on pare with Tina Fey or Chelsea Handler but enough of it is to be more than worth the paltry 99 cents. You will not be disappointed if you buy this unless you easily get offended by poop humor, and in that case, you shouldn't be buying it.
Pretty funny stories although some seemed a bit exaggerated. Still a good read.
I needed a laugh, so I took a chance on this one. Well worth it! While reading about other people's movements isn't the usual way I spend my afternoons, this book did the trick. I feel so much better knowing that I'm not the only one this stuff happens to! Well written, witty, and so funny you'll be laughing out loud...even if you're alone.
In the words of the great thinker Larry the Cable Guy, "I don't care who you are, that's funny right there...". This is a very well written and assembled collection of stories, each one hysterical (and strangely endearing). It's a thoroughly enjoyable read, and as an added bonus for nearly nonexistent attention spans like mine, you can (and will absolutely want to) get through the entire book in one 'sitting'. It'd be a serious bargin at 10 times the price, and as an added bonus, a portion of the too humble price of the download goes to a good cause.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention- it's about poop and stuff...
Being a fan of Mr. Hanky the Christmas Poo from South Park, a friend recommended this book to me. I must say I laughed out loud several times, specially with the story about the woman in the plane who was desperately seeking Imodium, what a nightmare that was. The tale of the kindergarten lady who found one of her students covered in poop will make you thank God if you don't work with children. I think the stories are very human, very funny, and very scary. I liked the stats and small quotes provided throughout the book as well.
